Success is only for talented people(?)
Let me repeat again. Is success is only for talented? Are those who work very hard not talented?
I am Rifki participant of Generasi GIGIH 2.0 (P_G2DA1065), as you can see in the title, I would like to discuss about “Success only for talented people”
While this discussion will undoubtedly be up for debate for years to come, one thing that is without a doubt is that not all successful people are equally talented.
So, I would like to using QFT that I’ve learnt from career readiness. Before we jump, let me explain first what is QFT.
QFT builds questioning skills, a lifelong learning skill that helps people think more critically.
You can see the steps by looking to the visualization from @Jim_dEntremont, let’s break it down to our topic.

Talented people include the gifted athlete, the wealthy business owner, the articulate public speaker, and the class valedictorian. Similarly, we all know people who are extremely talented but aren’t always “successful” or achieve great things. Many “smart” or “wealthy” people are unhappy, unfulfilled, and have clearly not lived up to their full potential or accomplished anything worthwhile.
Reflect
So, does success is only for talented people? People like Warren Buffet (businessman), Oprah Winfrey (media magnate), Elon Musk (engineer), and Mark Zuckerberg (social media magnate) are considered successful in their respective fields. Does they had a talent? Or they hard work person?
To summarize, successful people in life may or may not be talented, but they are unquestionably those who devote time and effort to continuous learning. They don’t let failure get in the way of their success because they understand that “perfection is a myth” and that having a growth mindset is the path to it.
